According to Wikipedia “Knoxville is a city in the U.S. state of Tennessee, and the county seat of Knox County. As of the 2010 census, the city has a population of 178,874, and is Tennessee’s third largest city after Nashville and Memphis. Knoxville is the principal city of the Knoxville Metropolitan Statistical Area, which was 868,546 in 2015. First settled in 1786, Knoxville was the first capital of Tennessee. Running with the Goats Second Annual Event Photography was a blast again this year. The competition was fierce and the goats were ready!!!! I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful event for an organization that helps a lot of people in the community. This is a little about the organization itself . . . “STAR serves children and adults from Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Fentress, Knox, Loudon, Jefferson, Monroe, McMinn, Roane, Sevier, and surrounding counties. We work with individuals starting at age four to seniors with physical, mental and neurological disabilities or those considered at-risk. In 2018, STAR served 249 individuals with a total of 4,715 hours of Equine Assisted activities.” I hope you enjoy these fun photos and plan on attending next year too!!!!
