Leadership Knoxville Youth Graduation 2015

Working as the official photographer for Leadership Knoxville Youth Graduation 2015 was an honor to be part of and is the first of many more years of Graduations for Knoxville’s youth to come.  I try and capture what the client instructs me to do as well as all of the unexpected moments that always seem to occur during the event! Hope you enjoy these photos . . . I have been staying really busy with events for the past month of May.

Justin Fee in the news . . .

This was a switch . . . I got to be on the other side of the camera and was interviewed by Lesli Bales Sherrod of the Knoxville News Sentinel last week. I talked about my career as a photographer, pursuits as an artist, and my new business adventure with my business partner Mr. Billy Sams. The article is linked to this photo:) Here is a link to the story from The Knoxville News Sentinel http://www.knoxnews.com/knoxville/life/lesli-balessherrod-south-knox-photographer-offers-business-specialist-services_16834590

Ripley’s Aquarium of The Smokies

Here is a look inside the Ripley’s Aquarium of The Smokies located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I enjoyed the aquatic life seemingly all around me without ever getting my feet wet or my camera of course. These are all shot with my Canon 7D with only ambient light. It was a bit of a challenge as the aquarium is naturally very dark with only the light form the tanks illuminating the fish. I hope you enjoy them and happy first day of Spring 2015.

The Tomato Head Food Photography

I recently was hired again for some additional food photography by Mahasti Vafaie, owner of the Tomato Head Restaurants. . . here are some of the delectable options to try at the Tomato Head Restaurants found in two separate locations in Knoxville, TN. I was especially fond of the pizza topped with mushrooms and onions that I was fortunate enough to sample while working there. © 2015 Justin Fee

Covenant Kids Run at the Knoxville Zoo

I covered the Covenant Kids Run at the Knoxville Zoo on Saturday, Jan. 31, 201 for the Knoxville News Sentinel. The Zoo is always an exciting time and I estimated over 500 people turned out to participate in the fun run thru the Knoxville Zoo. This marked the beginning of a nearly 26.2 mile course the kids will have the opportunity to participate in during the weeks leading up to the official Covenant Health Run in April of this year. I hope you enjoy these images as it was also an adventure for me to cover this “wild,” beginning to a great idea to help kids stay positive about their health. © 2015 Justin Fee
