I covered the Covenant Kids Run at the Knoxville Zoo on Saturday, Jan. 31, 201 for the Knoxville News Sentinel. The Zoo is always an exciting time and I estimated over 500 people turned out to participate in the fun run thru the Knoxville Zoo. This marked the beginning of a nearly 26.2 mile course the kids will have the opportunity to participate in during the weeks leading up to the official Covenant Health Run in April of this year. I hope you enjoy these images as it was also an adventure for me to cover this “wild,” beginning to a great idea to help kids stay positive about their health.
