Snow in Knoxville, TN 2015 Round 4 . . .

Here is round four of inclement weather that has fallen in East TN. We woke up this morning with five inches of snow covering everything in sight . . . The snow seemed to be wet and was very nice to walk in; footing was definitely better when you stayed in the thick layer of snow as opposed to the slushy tire tracks on the roads. I hope you enjoy these photos and are staying warm today:)

Covenant Kids Run at the Knoxville Zoo

I covered the Covenant Kids Run at the Knoxville Zoo on Saturday, Jan. 31, 201 for the Knoxville News Sentinel. The Zoo is always an exciting time and I estimated over 500 people turned out to participate in the fun run thru the Knoxville Zoo. This marked the beginning of a nearly 26.2 mile course the kids will have the opportunity to participate in during the weeks leading up to the official Covenant Health Run in April of this year. I hope you enjoy these images as it was also an adventure for me to cover this “wild,” beginning to a great idea to help kids stay positive about their health. © 2015 Justin Fee

From Selma to Ferguson

This was a great panel of speakers at a monthly meeting by a local Hip Hop group known as The Flow. I covered this relevant story for the Knoxville News Sentinel on Saturday January 25, 2015. I was amazed at the conversations and remarks of the people who have lived thru Selma and now Ferguson and the racial conflicts that exists in our great country. I am unbiased on these issues and know people do really incredible things to one another . . . I just try and treat everyone equally and expect the same for me. These images show how the young and the old are trying to get together and learn from each other.
